Interview (EN) on my artistic approach and Song is Being:

Concert Curation?
Program Concert?
Since 2018, I started to reflect on how we musicians nowadays should programme concerts to bring live classical music performance closer and deeper to more audience without sacrificing or altering its musical nature.
As a result, I curated my first concert - Song is Being, which utilises music and poetry to tell two ancient greek love stories.
Since then, I am convinced, that this concept of having a narrative, and of combining music with other art forms, not only does it create a unique concert experience, but also add extra artistic layers to the music. It also helps to reach a broader spectrum of audience, and to provide an easier entry point for audience to appreciate the music.
Inspired by "program music", I call this way of concert programming "program concert".
I am very open and interested in discussing and developing this concept further by cooperating and curating tailor-made concerts for ensembles, orchestras, or individual artists.
Feel free to checkout the above pages of program concerts I curated so far. You will find the description of the story, programme order, and the programme notes I wrote. Contact me if you have questions, comments, or are interested in cooperation.
